Internet Explorer 9 and 93 languages




Microsoft has released language support for Internet Explorer 9 for 53 additional languages. This makes Internet Explorer 9 now available in a total of 93 languages, making it now available in more local languages than any other browser on Windows.


Here is a chart which shows the total number of languages available, with the ones now introduced being shown in blue color.




What About Other Browsers?
Firefox 4 is available in 86 languages
Chrome 11 is available in 45 languages
Opera 11 is available in 44 languages
Safari 5 is available in 16languages

The English version of IE9 works with all versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7, so you can install it on any version of Windows. You can install the localized versions of Internet Explorer 9 in a language that only matches your version of Windows.


Don't worry if your language is not available right now.Microsoft also plans to start offering IE9 in the 53 new languages starting next week via Windows Updates and expects to complete the roll out by June-end.
